We've all become far more culturally sensitive in recent months. Tonight as I'm catching up on evening news I stopped to rewind @bell ad highlighting some unclear offering showing a #monstertruck running over #chinesedumplings. Giant sized chopsticks and dumplings exploding. Given our
#Chinesecommunity is being harassed during this covid19 pandemic I don't think it's a good idea to show an unclear value proposition of crushing #chinesefood to sell some Bell service or decice. In no way am I suggesting @bell was meaning to cause upset but i strongly urge you to take this ad off the market given the times of inflammatory messages. This was unintentional I'm sure. And yes I shared it with my 21 yr old son and he's in agreement that this ad is inappropriate (!?*#@"). What do you think? Share and ask. Looking for your thoughts.

I do believe because their cause to empower youth over the past 10 yrs with powerful #WE days events across North America some in the crowds we see in protests today know they have a voice to be heard. At #WEschools youth have learned one person can lead a change and together we can create #changeagents to #changetheworld. Awareness of social issues begin with our children. Thank goodness my son was involved with #WE as a teen. It's like a #socialawareness vaccine. Creates #socialawareness antibodies! Thank-you and congratulations to the #class of 2020. What gives VP Pence a pass on not wearing a #mask @mayoclinic against hospital rules. Would he go to a #synagogue and not wear a #yarmulke or keep his shoes on in a #mosque. As #frontlinehealthworkers I take personal offence to his behaviour. And btw if I was the CEO @mayoclinic I'd ask him to stay in the lobby. How dare him visit patients without a mask. Shameful c suite team @mayoclinic. As a big institution who prides in leadership you failed because you wouldn't stand up to do the right thing for your staff and patients. And set an example.

The first week and already an incredible amount of support towards the @maskingtogether challenge. We had two stories go live last night with the @nationalpost and @thetorontostar. We are getting our message heard and I cannot thank you all enough.

We truly are all in this together and we will continue our mission to obtain personal protective equipment (PPE) for health care workers, fund short-term accommodations for medical trainees who are frontline healthcare workers who may need to isolate from family or roommates, as well as furthering urgent research into the SARS-CoV-2 virus and COVID-19. Proud to be a Founder of the @maskingtogether Challenge in partnership with @uoftmedicine. The Masking Together Challenge is based on ONE donation to make a TRIPLE impact where you will be helping workers, doctors and researchers.

As chief Volunteer together with my founding partner @xthetica Manny Kapur, we are on a mission to obtain personal protective equipment (PPE) for health care workers, fund short-
term accommodations for medical trainees who are frontline healthcare workers and may need to isolate from family or roommates, as well as furthering urgent research into the SARS-CoV-2 virus and COVID-19.

As health care practitioners, we know firsthand the critical impact we can make with support for PPE, short-term accommodations for trainees and research. We owe it to our peers on the front lines to do everything we can to help in this crisis. I get it. I was scared. We were all scared when SARS hit Toronto. This COVID-19 pandemic is far more challenging. We are at war to defeat this virus, locally and globally.
