It should be no surprise to anyone…that many cancers can be avoided by making the right lifestyle choices.
A British study says nearly half of the cancers diagnosed every year are caused by avoidable bad lifestyle choices. Tobacco remains the biggest culprit.
What are the other causes? Drinking too much alcohol, eating unhealthy foods and not having enough fruits and vegetables and being overweight.
The lead author of the study, Dr. Max Parkin, says we have the power to prevent about 40 per cent of all cancers. Personally, I believe that percentage could be much higher by embracing a healthy lifestyle. Many people still believe cancer is determined solely by your genes or sheer bad luck.
Wake up. Many cancers can be prevented.
